Artist Statement
The aesthetics behind Anville begin with a serious attention to detail, and of a certain, undefinable mood. Craftsmanship of antiques to the intricacies of modern day objects have always been fascinating, as is the allure of the shape of a woman, and are thus represented in the work. Through pen, and its accuracy as an art form, a combination of eras which do not exist in reality, co-exist in stark contrast with the central theme revolving around the grace and dignity of the feminine.
